Hey there, hi there, ho there!

September 28, 2008 - Chris is inducted into the Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame in a ceremony at Ottawa's Centrepointe Theatre. The award, presented by her brother Buddy, recognizes Chris' many accomplishments. Her lengthy career, which began with The McCann Family Band when she was barely old enough to hold a guitar, is highlighted by her numerous recordings, contest wins and community service. Chris, busier than ever, spends a good deal of her time on the high seas, entertaining on the largest cruise ship in the world!
